This Swiftie brought a whole new meaning to the lyrics "you need to calm down, you're being too loud."

If there is one thing Swifties know how to bring to the table, it's energy. This woman harnessed the power of being a Swiftie to get even with her alpha male neighbor by leaning in further and further into her traditionally "girly" aesthetic. Now, before we break down the details of this story, it's worth acknowledging that not all fans of the Grammy-winning superstar necessarily identify with femininity. Sure, Swift's fandom is, more often than not, associated with young teenage girls. However, ever since the success of the Eras Tour, the "Love Story" singer/songwriter has occupied a level of dominance in the popular culture space that few celebrities are able to attain, thereby attracting legions of stans across all sorts of identities and backgrounds. 

That being said, the author of this story, who happened to be a devoted Taylor Swift fan, also loved to lean into that which is traditionally associated with femininity. She embraced this side of herself without any shame or embarrassment, which ended up deeply infuriating her next-door neighbor. He was about as traditionally masculine as you could get. He was always watching sports, he was also playing problematic video games with the volume at full blast, and he probably listened to one too many questionable podcasts. Downstairs neighbor had the Worst sounding speakers, They were a mix of all the speakers I've thrown out over the years installed in some Laundry detergent boxes! On top of a shelf about 24 inches from his ceiling. So I took my Panasonic SB-400's and laid then face down on the floor. The workers arrived early, were loud, smoking, inconsiderate. Certainly nothing illegal, but annoying nonetheless. She put "Cherish" by Madonna on repeat one morning and we left the apartment for five hours. When we returned they were all singing along with it, unable to stop. We noticed a small shift in behavior after that, so surprisingly, it worked.
